The series changed shooting location to Atlanta after the original pilot had been shot in Toronto. Gotham Knights Season 1 features Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes the adopted son of Batman who suffers the same fate as his father, becoming an orphan early in his life. Gotham Knights Season 1 was optioned for a series after a successful pilot episode was shot in April 2022. It is created by James Stroteraux, Natalie Abrams and Chad Fiveash.
